Synkivo is a brand-new WordPress plugin that connects your site with self-hosted and S3-compatible cloud storage. Built from the ground up with modern techniques, Synkivo is a fresh codebase, not a fork of our existing plugins. It comes from the same team as the WP Cloud Plugins (Use-your-Drive, Share-one-Drive, Out-of-the-Box, Lets-Box), so you can expect the same support quality and product philosophy, with a more modern foundation underneath.
Supported storage providers
- NextCloud
- ownCloud
- AWS S3
- S3-compatible providers (Wasabi, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO, and others)
- NAS via WebDAV (Synology, TrueNAS, and similar)
What you can do with Synkivo
- Embed file browsers, galleries, sliders, media players, and upload forms on your WordPress pages, pulling content from your storage.
- Let visitors or registered users upload files directly to your storage, optionally into per-user folders.
- Manage files (rename, move, delete, share) from the WordPress dashboard without leaving the site.
- Integrate with form plugins, WooCommerce, EDD, and other WordPress tools you already use.
How Synkivo relates to the WP Cloud Plugins
Synkivo is a separate product with its own license, its own pricing, and its own codebase. Synkivo is the new generation, built specifically for self-hosted and S3-compatible storage. Both are made and supported by the same team, share the same support process, and live in the same help center.
