No. A CodeCanyon license is tied to a single End Product (one site or project) and can't be deactivated and reused on a different site. This is a limitation of Envato's licensing model. Under the Envato terms, your purchase code is not transferable between sites. For full terms: Regular ยท Extended.
A more flexible alternative: switch to a Freemius license
If site mobility matters to you, switching to a direct (Freemius) license is the cleaner long-term solution. Freemius supports multi-site tiers and self-service license management: you can deactivate a license on one site and activate it on another at any time, all from your own dashboard.
You can convert your CodeCanyon purchase code to a Freemius license at wpcloudplugins.com/migrate.
After conversion: install the matching plugin version
A Freemius license requires the Freemius plugin version. You'll receive the new plugin package by email after using the migrate form, and you can also download it from your Freemius account.
To install the new version without losing your settings:
- In your WordPress Admin Dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the new plugin ZIP and press Install Now.
- WordPress will replace the current version in place.
Do not deactivate or uninstall the current version first if the Delete Modules and Settings on Uninstall setting on the plugin's Advanced tab is enabled. Uploading the new ZIP replaces the plugin without removing your data, settings, or configuration.
